Turbo Monkey

Screen cleanup

Take the clutter off the screens you use every day.

Included in the aTech app and the Owners app

Most shops use part of Shopmonkey and read past the rest. The suite lets you take those pieces off the screen, and put them straight back whenever you want, because nothing is ever deleted.

Shopmonkey's Review Manager with the AI Suggested Response block hidden: the 4.8 overall rating, 32 percent open rate and 365 total reviews across the top, then a feed of Google reviews with the shop's own replies under them.
Review Manager with the suggested-response block switched off. This one is a live shop's screen: reviewer names and review text are blurred, the ratings and totals are the shop's own.

What it does

The sidebar is a list you edit. Type the names of the rail entries your shop doesn't use into the settings page and they stop appearing. The list ships with Accounting and Time Clocks in it as a starting point. Clear them and they come back. Nothing is hardcoded to your shop, and changes take effect on the open tab without a reload.

On CRM then Review Manager, one checkbox hides the AI Suggested Response block inside each review card, the bordered panel with the Send and Edit buttons. The review itself, the rating, the reply and the rest of the card are untouched, so what's left is the reviews and your responses to them. Turn the checkbox off and the block comes back exactly where Shopmonkey put it.

Every hide here is CSS. The extension marks the element and a stylesheet stops it drawing. It never removes or rewrites anything Shopmonkey owns. Uninstall the extension or empty the list and you're back to the stock screen.

Why it matters to a shop

A rail with four entries nobody uses is four chances to click the wrong thing, on every screen, all day. Taking them off is a small change the front desk notices right away.

Review Manager is the same idea. It's Shopmonkey's screen and the suite doesn't replace it. It takes one block off it, because a shop that writes its own replies doesn't want a drafted one sitting under every review.

Real screens from the extension. Most were shot against Westbrook Auto Works, a made-up shop, so every name and number in them is invented. Where a shot comes from a live shop, the caption says so and says what's blurred.

In detail

What ships today.

  • Your list

Sidebar entries are matched by the name you see on screen, from a list you edit on the settings page. Seeded with two, capped at forty-eight.

  • One checkbox for review drafts

Hides the AI Suggested Response panel on every review card. On by default, off whenever you want it back.

  • Hidden, never deleted

Pure CSS against Shopmonkey's own markup. Nothing is removed from the page, so nothing downstream of it breaks.

  • Live, no reload

Save on the settings page and the open Shopmonkey tab updates itself.

Put Screen cleanup in your own Shopmonkey.

Two minutes to install, once per computer. Nothing to migrate.
